Finding time for enjoyment

People tell me to take time for the things that you enjoy. I would if I could FIND the time. When time allows I find myself wanting a nap instead of pulling out the quilting scraps. I would love to get the paints out again and paint a master piece, but alas the time thing cramps my style. If anyone has an idea on how I can store up some time to use at a later date I would genuinely appreciate it.
