Finding time for enjoyment
People tell me to take time for the things that you enjoy. I would if I could FIND the time. When time allows I find myself wanting a nap instead of pulling out the quilting scraps. I would love to get the paints out again and paint a master piece, but alas the time thing cramps my style. If anyone has an idea on how I can store up some time to use at a later date I would genuinely appreciate it.

Finding Motivation
After hours of sitting and hoping that my stories will write themselves I am now buckling down and getting busy.
I was given a rare opportunity to share time with veterans of WWII on Friday at the USS Enterprise CV-6 reunion. I was also able to meet a real Rosie the Riveter. She was a Journeyman welder at the shipyards during the war. She was a spunky woman. I really enjoyed her stories.
I will be sharing recipes as well as stories and photos on this blog. I will keep my ear to the ground for more great gossip in this small but great town. Keep posted for more.

Welcome to my blog
Hey everyone. I am going to try this blog thing and see how it goes. It seems the thing to do these days. I figure since I am a writer by day, I may as well be one by night also. This is a great format in which I am able to share pictures and stories of current events and family news. It is my wish that it is as enjoyable for you as it is for me.
Be sure to check out more of my writing and photo's on the Tremonton Leader website.
